Mountain Family
Steamboat Springs' Jewish Congregation
Membership
We are committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in our membership and participation so as to involve all individuals and families, regardless of background, financial means, gender, marital status, race, or age, in participating in our congregation. We remain understanding of the needs of those with both traditional and nontraditional Jewish backgrounds. We look to welcome and involve residents of our community as well as guests interested in our congregation.
August 2012
Please join us in our continuing efforts
to maintain and improve our Jewish presence in Steamboat as we continue
to offer Shabbat services and Holiday
celebrations for our mountain family.
We plan to offer a variety of religious and Hebrew educational
opportunities for both children and adults at no additional cost to our
members. Please refer to the
calendar for the 2012/2013 schedule of events. As always, we are working toward a more
thorough integration of all aspects of our programming and invite your
participation in moving our congregation forward. We welcome your
opinions, help, and support.
To make all of this happen, we need your financial contributions. Your
dues include attendance to the High Holiday Services and all education
programs.

Dues of $180 include Religious School! Other First Year Introductory dues are now reduced by 50% to $100 for Individuals, $200 for Couples, and $300 for Families with children post-Bar/Bat Mitzvah, applicable to new or former members who have been away for over 3 years.
Membership packets will be in the mail by August 1st. If you have not received your packet, you may download it or join online below.
We look forward to seeing you over the High Holidays, starting with Rosh Hashanah services on Sunday, September 16th, at 7:00 PM at the Bud Werner Memorial Library Hall.
We welcome everyone and feel it is of the utmost importance that no one
be turned away from participation due to financial constraints. Please
contact Karen Schiller (karens@harmishpacha.org) if you would like to set up a payment
plan, or need financial assistance. Tickets to the
High Holiday services will be required again this year. Therefore,
membership dues need to be paid by September 7, 2012 to
ensure your tickets arrive timely. Lastly, remember your membership and additional contributions
are tax deductible.
