Paula Salky is hosting her incredible community led Passover Seder again together with Har Mishpacha! This year's theme is Disney!

The Haggadah will be compiled from The Wandering is Over Haggadah (from Jewish Boston), A Different Night by Noam Zion and David Dishon and the Artscroll Family Haggadah. Disney music and lyrics adapted for Passover by Paula Salky, Amy Stern, Mike Theis, and Rabbi Kolby (with great admiration and apologies to the artists).

If you are looking for your Bubbe and Zedde's 5 hour seder... this is not it! This is more of a fun, laid back gathering to tell our story in a contemporary manner. Costumes and props are greatly encouraged!

This Seder is community led, which means that everyone needs to come together to bring food, wine and help with setup and cleanup. Once you register through this form, the pop up confirmation will send you to a spreadsheet to sign up for bringing food and volunteering! The Seder will be capped at 150 people, so sign up early to ensure your spot!

The second night Seder will be led by Rabbi Kolby Morris-Dahary and other families from Har Mishpacha, the Jewish Community of Steamboat. The Seder will explore the theme “Peoplehood: The journey of Am Yisrael”. This Seder will be musical, engaging, and participatory. Participants will be invited to lead a part of the Seder and reflect with their tables throughout our seder journey.

During these incredibly difficult times for the Jewish people, we invite you on a journey of discovering who we really are. Join the celebration and pride in the story of Jewish Peoplehood as we share in a Passover meal. On this journey, the story of exodus comes alive through music and conversation explained through text, stories, and participatory learning together. The Haggadah we will be using on our journey is “A Different Night by Noam Zion and David Dishon”.

The delicious meat meal (no dairy or chametz) served at our Seder will be catered by Chef Russell Goodman. He will be cooking a delicious Passover feast for us using locally sourced meat and vegetables (as much as possible given the season). The Seder will be capped at 60 people, so sign up early to ensure your spot!
